Welcome to The People’s Service Exchange, a project of The Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center, where we offer a coordinated network to connect people who have a skill with people who need that skill. You don't have to have internet service to be a member! You may ask another member to assist you (for time dollars!) or call the office to have the Coordinator assist you.

Log in, have a look around and don't hesitate to ask for help if you have a question. Don't be shy about changing things. Make some requests or offers to try it out and consider making a group of your own. The possibilities for this site are vast - let your imaginations run wild and have fun with it!

Do remember your member responsibilitites:

• To have the skills and knowledge of equipment necessary to provide the services you offer

• To communicate clearly and be patient

• To be aware of and follow all safety rules and procedures pertaining to all of the services you provide

• To treat all members and PSE staff fairly, with dignity, care and respect

• To use common sense, as you do in purchasing services- whether to accept a service, whether the member offering the service is the right person for the job etc…

• To ask for and contact references if you feel it’s necessary

• To leave other members satisfied with the work you perform

• To pay for parts, supplies and ingredients for services you request

• To document the details when money changes hands by using the cash transaction form with member signatures

• To contribute on an annual basis as you are able financially and with your time. The suggested annual amount is $20 for an individual. Contact the Coordinator if this poses a hardship. All contributions are tax deductible and may be made out to The Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center, Federal Tax ID 02-0499088.
