Our Mission

We want to encourage TVSD member volunteerism and to create an environment where the individual member, TVSD, and the Tierrasanta community benefit.

Overview

The concept is simple.  When you spend an hour doing something for another Time Bank member, you earn a Time Credit.  Then you can use that Time Credit to buy any Time Bank member’s time or service.  Time Credits value everyone’s contributions equally.  One hour equals one Time Credit.
 

How do I use this website?

How do I join?

Any current member in good standing of Tierrasanta Village of San Diego is welcome to apply to join the TVSD Time Bank.

To join, you will need to fill out an application form, have two references fill out reference forms, and attend a Time Bank Orientation and Training session.  If you want to offer to drive people as a service, you will also need to get a form from the DMV.  (Don't worry - it's not as daunting is it sounds!)
